I've had moments when I realize I should make an issue out of something - yesterday was one of them - major PDA going on at my church gym - I wanted to say "I come to my church gym to avoid that" but I didn't.
I pick my battles, but I assume in safe areas- church, where I'll be able to speak to the mom, and even sometimes at the park where I most likely will just irritate someone, I say 'it' anyway. I often hope that folks will trip my kids when they run in the halls at church, and that the fall won't be life threatening, cause the old people they run over on the way might not survive the broken hip. I'm all for speaking up, even when it seems awkward...
